ISH 2019 for Duravit was a very exciting and extremely busy show, with the launch of two new bathroom series, Happy D 2 plus, Viu and XViu. Both have been created in collaboration with sieger design, with their completely contrasting styles, one with precise angles the other with curves. They both created a huge buzz, especially when sieger design joined us on the stand to view the products in- situ.

The stand also welcomed Philippe Stark, who has created a sleek accessory series designed exclusively for Duravit and new exciting technological innovations for the shower toilet – Starck f; In addition a natural progression in relation to functionality and style were apparent within the new faucet series launched at the show.

Stefan Seitz, Director Brand Management ISH, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH commented: “We are very pleased, that ISH 2019 gave once again an impressive demonstration of its importance for both German and international visitors and exhibitors. Both exhibitors and visitors gave the fair a noticeably high rating of satisfaction. “

Both exhibitors and visitors rated the economic outlook in positive terms. On the exhibitor side, 92 per cent said it was satisfactory to good. In the case of German exhibitors, this value was even higher, at 93 per cent. On the visitor side, the overall level of satisfaction was 92 per cent; in the case of German trade visitors, 94 per cent.

The next ISH will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 22 to 26 March 2021.

Connect2 is a revolutionary new slimline shower tray from Kudos Shower Products that boasts a truly unique feature. It’s been designed specifically to avoid floor joists, ensuring it retains its super-low profile when installed.

The Connect2 tray, that stands at just 35mm in height, is guaranteed to avoid all standard joist sizes and spans thanks to the precise positioning of a unique offset dual waste outlet, allowing the installer to choose the waste clear from obstruction to connect.

The tray may have to be rotated 90 or 180 degrees (dependent on shape) to accommodate the fixed joists, but once set, the installer simply uses the blanking plug provided to seal the unused waste and plumb in the hi-flow waste and trap, avoiding any need to lift the tray off the floor. If both waste holes are free then both wastes can be connected for even faster water removal. A re-inforced, magnetically secured waste cover, that’s easily removed for cleaning, then sits neatly over the plugs to complete the installation.

The Connect2 range of shower trays are manufactured in a high gloss white acrylic capped ABS filled with a structural resin bonded stone for maximum strength and stability. The collection offers 12 sizes, each coming complete with a high flow waste rated to 35 litres of water per minute and they can also be supplied with an optional KAMBA anti-slip coating. Prices start at just £280 Rsp inc vat.

Kudos Shower Products Ltd has been designing and manufacturing shower products at their Cumbria facility since 1999. Their portfolio includes shower enclosures, shower trays, over-bath screens and wet-room solutions sold via KBB showrooms and merchants across the UK.
