Marking its 15th edition, Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 expands its international reach with its most comprehensive European showcase to date. Spanning Spain, Italy, Norway, Germany, Austria and the UK, the programme positions EC1 as a key destination for architects and designers seeking material innovation, surface design and specification-led products.
Spain: immersive surfaces and bathroom design
Spanish design takes centre stage with 27 brands. At the Order of St John, El Salón by Tomás Alonso presents a curated interior including the Oasis bathtub by Sanycces and acoustic and ceramic systems by Ideatec and APE Grupo, highlighting texture, tactility and modularity. Tile of Spain’s Secret Garden explores ceramic applications across furniture and landscape, reinforcing tiles as a versatile architectural surface. Across Clerkenwell, Cosentino launches carbon-neutral and mineral-based surfaces targeting kitchen and bathroom specifications.
Italy: luxury bathrooms and hospitality-led interior
The Italian Trade Agency returns with a strong focus on bathroom and surface design. At The Luxury Edit, Giulio Cappellini curates a hospitality concept featuring Artelinea glass basins, Relax Design bathroom solutions and Tubes radiators, blending craft with industrial precision. Meanwhile, Ceramics of Italy presents new porcelain collections, with Casalgrande Padana debuting advanced stoneware surfaces for high-performance interiors.
Nordic and German innovation
Norway’s debut highlights sustainable materials, pairing Lundhs stone with circular textile solutions. Germany focuses on engineered performance, from wineo flooring to Jung smart systems and Hewi accessibility solutions – key for inclusive bathroom and residential design.
Austria and the UK: craft meets contemporary
The Austrian Collection foregrounds timber, lighting and heritage craftsmanship, while British brands showcase sustainable furniture and material experimentation. Across EC1 showrooms, new launches emphasise durability, modularity and low-impact production.
Running 19–21 May, Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 reinforces London’s role as a hub for bathroom innovation, ceramic surfaces and specification-driven design.
