CEA’s GIOTTO and FREE IDEAS bathroom collections have been specified for a Montréal Canada, designed by Salem Architecture and Atelier Chardonnat.
The bathrooms combine marble and wood with satin-finished AISI 316L stainless steel brassware, selected to complement the natural materials used throughout the property.

The specification includes a bathtub set comprising deck-mounted shut-off valves, a thermostatic mixer and a freestanding bath spout, alongside a deck-mounted progressive mixer with swivelling spout. The shower installation features a thermostatic mixer with three shut-off valves, a round adjustable shower head with transparent silicone nozzles, and a hand shower.
The renovation draws on Japanese and Scandinavian design influences, with the original architecture, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, adapted and extended to strengthen the connection with the surrounding woodland. A purpose-built Zen garden further reinforces this relationship with the landscape.
Oak, walnut, stone and marble feature throughout the interiors, alongside wood treated using the Shou Sugi Ban technique. Large windows bring natural light into the property, while the consistent use of natural materials establishes continuity between the different spaces.
CEA’s INNOVO kitchen collection was also specified for the project. The three-hole mixer, featuring a swivelling spout and pull-out hand shower, is finished in Bronze satin to complement the oak flooring and walnut cabinetry.
