Ideal Standard has launched Waverley, a collection inspired by the elegance of the Victorian and Edwardian bathroom.
The range features four toilet configuration options along with washbasins for the family bathroom or the cloakroom, all incorporating distinctive, period-defining features.
To provide flexibility, Waverley offers multiple size options within its collection, making it super simple for homeowners to plan a period look within a modern space. Be it a master bedroom, guest en-suite or understairs cloakroom where space is at a premium, Waverley has products to suit.
Ideal Standard’s freestanding Idealcast roll top bath fits perfectly with Waverley. Coming complete with cast iron feet, for a glamorous look worthy of a period stately home or grand townhouse.
For those looking to truly channel the style of the era, Waverley features a WC with a high level cistern. This product provides a real heritage statement and incorporates chrome cistern brackets, chrome flush pipe and ceramic pull handle. Smaller spaces can achieve a no less refined look via a close coupled WC or back-to-wall WC, which manage to add a dash of contemporary streamlining to an otherwise faithful period finish.
Robin Levien, Ideal Standard International Designer, said: “Ideal Standard has a long and rich history. The new Waverley collection really taps into that by recreating pieces of late Victorian and Edwardian design. What’s more, as a company that was in operation during these eras, we’re perfectly placed to take inspiration from our archives.
“These designs have proved timeless and are a simple way for homeowners to inject an elegant, period aesthetic into their home. Each of the products is manufactured using the latest in manufacturing techniques, so the vintage glamour of the collection is balanced with the high quality and reliability of modern ceramics.”
