Sleep + Eat 2018
The new style Sleep + Eat was staged for the first time at London Olympia on the 20th and 21st November and introduced a bar and restaurant component to its respected hotel design focus. The event saw a record number of designers and buyers from across the hospitality sector and a wide diversity of overseas visitors, including an increase of 24% in international visitors. With more than 150 international exhibitors, over 50 new collections were launched from around the world. The theme of ‘Recognisable and New’ featured iconic brands, newcomers and cutting-edge products.
The ever-popular Sleep Sets, were this year joined by three immersive Eat Sets, a fantasy restaurant let visitors experience dining though virtual reality Oculus glasses that revealed a fantasy of hamburger mountains, pineapples and floating champagne bottles.
For the bathroom sector, exhibitors showcased an array of products that coalesce perfectly with today's hospitality design trends.
