The ongoing collaboration between designer Sophie Conran and luxury bathroom company Drummonds began when she redesigned the London showroom in 2008. Her fresh, contemporary style is the perfect backdrop to its classic bathroomware. Now Drummonds’ customers can be part of that style too since they have commissioned Sophie Conran to devise a range of paint colours especially for its splendid freestanding baths.

However, a visit to Drummonds’ London showroom changed their minds by introducing them to a collection of classic designs, inspired by period pieces and traditional manufacturing techniques but designed to work within modern bathrooms.

A riveting experience from Aston Matthews
Taking its inspiration from the great 19th century engineer, the Brunel cast iron bath, from Aston Matthews, is a handsome design featuring battleship grey exterior with rivet detail. This free standing bath can either be positioned to the side of the room with wall mounted taps or allowed to take centre stage with floor standing fittings.
