Twyford launches the ultra-slim Twylite shower tray

Twyford bathrooms has launched ultra-light and slim shower trays to extend its showering range.

Building on the success of its Geo6 and Hydr8 showering collections, Twyford Bathrooms is set to reinvent the shower tray with Twylite, a range of ultra slim, and lightweight shower trays packed full of the Total Install features quick, easy, and foolproof installation

At a mere 35mm in depth and made from acrylic-capped polyurethane, the Twylite range is incredibly lightweight, but the addition of a limestone compound creates incredible structural strength and ensures optimum stability.

Twyford has also introduced a number of Total Install features to the Twylite range to ensure that it leads the market in terms of its ease of installation. All Twylite trays from Twyford Bathrooms come fully boxed with all the components included to ensure a flawless installation. And because everything including a legs and panel kit, the installer can decide whether to install directly onto the floor or use legs and panels on a more uneven floor surface.

Should you need to use them, the Total Install leg set, which is cleverly stored in recesses on the underside of the shower tray, are easily screwed into a cast-in thread on the shower tray. This means that when needed the legs are easily and quickly adjusted to ensure a true level, even on uneven floor surfaces. In addition, a Total Install panel fix mechanism incorporating Velcro pads simply clip onto the legs, allowing for a quick and simple fixing of the tray panels should they be required.

The Twylite collection comes in three modern shapes, Quadrant, Square, and Rectangle; each shape comes in a choice of sizes, ensuring optimum flexibility and choice when creating a bathroom scheme. In addition, for flexibility of use, all Twylite trays also come in two specifications, flat top or with an integrated upstand (4 on square and rectangular trays on 2 on quadrants). The former works best for refurbishment projects while the later is perfect for new build environments.

At 35mm, the Twylite trays are one of the slimmest showertrays on the market, yet in exhaustive tests by Twyford Bathrooms, they passed deflection tests with flying colours.

Available only in white and with a 90mm waste (supplied separately) Twylite trays come with a lifetime guarantee. The Twylite trays are designed to complement the complete range of Geo6 and Hydr8 shower enclosures, offering a myriad of shower styles to suite every household situation.
