Twyfords Sanitary Ware introduces Flushwise the lowest flushing WC

Twyfords Sanitary Ware have already developed a range of water saving bathroom products that will help developers towards meeting the targets of Building Regulations Part G. The toilet is the main consumer of water in a homes and to stop unnecessary volumes of water literally being flush away, Twyford Bathrooms has developed the Flushwise Twyfords Sanitary Ware dual flush WC collection, the UK's lowest flushing toilet with an effective flush of 3 litres (4 full or 2.6 litres half flush).

Twyfords Sanitary Ware toilets from Twyford Bathrooms have widely been recognised for their water saving qualities and have been awarded the coveted Waterwise Marque.

Current government regulations say all new WC's must flush on a maximum of 6 litres but it is estimated that the majority of household toilets still flush on 9 or more litres. So simply by switching to a Twyfords Sanitary Ware Flushwise WC the average household would save an amazing 30,000 litres of water per year. This huge water saving is achieved with minimal effort or cost on the part of the house builder as Flushwise has been made available throughout a number of suites, at different price points, so that whatever the house builders budget, there would be a Flushwise suite to match.

The bath is also a major source of water consumption in the home and while showers undoubtedly use less water, people in the UK are still attached to their baths and new houses still incorporate one into the main bathroom. A typical bath holds around 200 litres of water but with Part G in mind, Twyfords Sanitary Ware has created the Signature bath that holds only 140 litres, helping towards the Part G target.

Twyford Bathrooms has also developed the Aquations, a range of low flow taps and brassware that incorporates flow restricting double click technology. Click one allows a reduced flow of 2.5 litres per minute, while click two allows a 5 litre per minute flow. Additionally, the Aquations range includes a bath shower mixer with an acceptable shower flow of 6 litres per minute.
