Lakes Launches 8mm Italian Style

Lakes Bathrooms, has launched a new range of 8mm walk-in enclosures as part of its Italia Collection. The 8mm Modula range includes five styles of free standing, walk-in enclosures and - as an introductory offer – these will be launched at the Modula 6mm price.

From the classic Vizzini, to the urban chic of the Celino side-entry and the space and elegance of the Padova, this range is claimed to be deceptively simple and stunning. Within the range are designs to suit free-standing situations, alcoves, corners and wetrooms.

Glass is the element that leads the look of these new minimalist 8mm Modula walk-in enclosures and they all feature silicon-free wall profiling and shadow profiles to reduce the visual impact of aluminium at the corners, creating a clean, luxurious look.

Introducing the new 8mm range, sales and marketing director, Clive Organ said, “At the higher end of the market the consumer now demands 8mm glass for the understated style and solidity it lends to finished designs. We are serving that market, not only with the highest quality and proven Italian design, but by launching at the 6mm price, we are creating real attraction for the discerning customer. Modula is part of the Italia Collection from Lakes Bathrooms, which is manufactured in Italy and was designed at the internationally renowned Talocci design house. The stylish designs are based on minimalist engineering that creates the effect of space and freedom, with attention to fitting practicality that promises ‘sure-to-fit’, with floor profiles that compensate for unevenness and adjustable panel supports.

Dimensions for the Modula range are based on a minimum height of 1950mm, with both wetroom and tray options that include low profile, standard and easy-plumb. The footprint options range in width and depth, with a wide choice from the smallest 1000 x 750, to the largest set size 1600 x 1000, with the Milena model available made to measure.
