Ideal Standard promote safety in the bathroom

Ideal Standard offers several collections and bathroom products that provide increased security levels in the bathroom without compromising on design thanks to innovative materials and technical design. Thermostatically controlled taps and showers prevent scalding and bathtubs, with a lower than average step-in height, increase accessibility for the elderly or less mobile people.

Ideal Standard ATTITUDE offers a range of taps with its COOL BODY technology, not just for thermostats but also for single lever taps (basin, shower and bath shower). This prevents the overheating of the tap, even when hot water is running. The tap can be touched at any time without danger of burning, ensuring optimal safety. Ideal Standard ATTITUDE also provides maximum comfort and attractive features. All wash basin taps are available with either a Classic, rounded water flow (see image 1) or with a spa-inspired Waterfall aerator (see image 2): air is inserted into the waterfall and softens the water stream for a splash-free flow. Aerators actually restrict the water flow from the tap without reducing water pressure so they are a great way of reducing the amount of water used. Both the Classic and Waterfall jets are concealed within a chrome plated, changeable inlay integrated into the underside of the tap. As a result of their unique design, the aerators give a clean, splash-free stream of water and can be switched after installation. Ideal Standard has added patented direct wall connections so that there is no risk of soaking behind. As there are no visible fixing screws there is also no risk of any dirt build-up.

Easy access for all generations
Designed by Italian-based Marc Sadler, the Ideal Standard FIRST collection was designed with accessibility in mind. It has a lower step-in height of just 48cms, 7cms less than an average bath making it particularly easy to get in and out of for children and the elderly; however the design ensures that depth and comfort are not compromised.

Ideal Standard FIRST bath uses breakthrough technology combining overflow protection and waste in the same system. Generous water levels can be obtained despite the lower step-in height thanks to the new fully patented Ideal Waste System. A simple open and close control is positioned on the rim of the bath.

Due to its flexible size and forms, the FIRST collection can be easily integrated into the most challenging shaped spaces, making it an ideal solution for inclusive design bathroom.
