Ideal Standard announce Attitude Bathroom Solution

Ideal Standard has added to its extensive portfolio of design-driven bathroom solutions with the addition of 'Attitude' to its bathroom collection. This new range of mixer taps combines next-generation technology with high quality design to achieve safer, cleaner and more environmentally friendly water management solutions.

Ideal Standard 'Attitude' was designed by award-winning design house, Artefakt and is bold, sensuous and minimalist in style.

Ideal Standard 'Attitude' asserts its individuality wherever it is placed and behind its uncompromising lines lies state-of-the-art functionality that maximizes safety and water savings through technology.

For the first time, Ideal Standard has equipped a range of mixer taps with its ingenious Cool Body design in the 'Attitude' range offering enhanced safety. Not just for the thermostatic options but also for the single lever basin mixers within the range. This prevents the body of the tap getting hot, even when hot water is running. The tap can be touched at any time without danger of burning, ensuring optimal safety.

Ideal Standard's innovative CLICK technology reduces the water flow by up to 50% of full flow; the new ATTITUDE range shines ecologically as well as economically. This feature is fitted to the single lever vessel mixer with classic outlet, single lever basin mixer with classic outlet and bidet mixer where there is a positive stop on the lever movement at 50% flow. Fully raising the flow lever overcomes this to give full flow. For high pressure installations a flow regulator is provided with basin mixers to limit flow to 5 litres per minute.

For safer showering 'Attitude' also has a thermostatic rim mounted bath/shower mixer and exposed or built-in thermostatic shower valves. Each comes with an Eco Button, limiting the flow rate to 50%, with a simple push button manual override to achieve higher flow rates.

'Attitude' from Ideal Standard offers a range of mixer taps with either a Classic, rounded water flow or with a spa-inspired Waterfall feature: air is introduced into the water flow to soften the water stream for a splash-free flow. Aerators also restrict the water flow from the tap without reducing water pressure so they are a great way of reducing the amount of water used. Both the Classic and Waterfall aerators are concealed within a chromium plated, inter-changeable inlay integrated into the underside of the tap. As a result of this unique design, they give a clean, splash-free stream of water.

Tomas Fiegl, designer at Artefakt, explains what's unique about his latest brainchild: Attiude brings a pure minimalist and functional design into a new world of sensuality. Although it is designed geometrically, Attitude still manages to appear soft and smooth with its gentle, flowing, unbroken surfaces.

There are 9 different models within the 'Attitude' range that can be fitted easily with all Ideal Standard products.
