HiQu Digital Makes its Grand Designs Debut

Like all Aqualisa digital bathroom products, the HiQu range of showers and bath fills are controlled by compact processors. Sited away from the bathroom or showering area – typical locations might include an airing cupboard or attic – the processor, which is smaller than a shoebox, blends hot and cold flows of water with thermostatic precision and also controls water flow. A slim data cable connects the processor to the shower or bath fill control.


A greener shower

It is also on the processor that an optional eco setting can be activated during installation. Perfect for anyone looking for a ‘greener’ shower, the setting will typically reduce flow down to around 8 litres per minute.

HiQu Bath meanwhile, offers the user the choice of three, fully thermostatic bathing options. Having selected their ideal temperature, there is the choice of a ‘full fill’, ‘half fill’ or ‘shallow fill’ – so whatever the time of day or mood, the perfect bathing experience awaits. Water is dispensed via an ‘overflow’ fill – creating a streamlined, contemporary look – and for further ease of use, the control can even be sited away from the bath. A real advantage for less able users or where inclusivity is key to a bathroom’s design and layout.

Family friendly

Versatile and capable of accommodating a wide range of bathroom schemes, HiQu showers are available with concealed or exposed controls and can be specified with either a height-adjustable, multi-mode showerhead or a ceiling or wall fixed showerhead. Further flexibility comes in the form of an optional and secondary hand shower – a useful feature, which is also an option for HiQu Bath fills, not to mention an indispensable accessory for kids..!

Remote activation

All HiQu showers or bath fills also offer the option of a remote switch. The switch can be located up to 10 metres away from the showering area or bath – for example just inside the bathroom door, on the landing or for en suite bathrooms, even in the bedroom. Highly convenient and practical,

the switch also features a small LED display – allowing the user to turn their shower on or fill their bath (providing the plug is in place, of course) without even going into the bathroom.
