Beyond from Glass for inspired bathroom design

Glass Idromassaggio presents a new collection of bathtubs,Beyond Bath and shower cabins, Beyond Shower that break traditional moulds. Created through collaboration with the young designer, Claudia Danelon, Beyond ventures into the realm of design and compositional freedom, striking a new balance between forms and materials that will appeal to consumers who embrace a contemporary lifestyle.

Originally from Udine in Italy's Northeast, Claudia Danelon now resides in the UK where she works with a well-known architecture & design studio. The designer has come up with an unprecedented combination of different materials ranging from the natural, rounded, almost egg-like shapes of the bathtub and shower tray, both in Pietraluce®, to the architectural rationality of a self-supporting monolith, with its boxy, square appearance. This can be clad in an endless array of materials such as mosaic, marble or wood to give an individual stamp and fit harmoniously into its surroundings. These elements combine in an architectural mix that turns the bathroom into an avant-garde living room.

Measuring a generous 185cm x 109cm, Beyond Bath is available in white or black and in a choice of matt or gloss finish. The unique structure of the Beyond Bath monolith provides for a range of installation options – free-standing, corner, wall-mounted or niche - plus with the utmost freedom to customize the unit with the customer’s personal choice of cladding material.

Beyond Shower interprets the shower area with a shower tray in Pietraluce®, available in matt white or black, a shower enclosure made from 8mm-thick tempered clear glass and, to house the working parts of the shower, a wall-mounted monolith block. This can also be clad as desired in different materials and finishes to blend in impeccably with the structure, shape and function of the surroundings. Beyond Shower is made for corner installation.
