Private Spa with Bassino from Kaldewei

Unveiled at ISH in Frankfurt in March 2009, Bassino is the latest concept for achieving wellbeing through water from Kaldewei.

This new bath model creates a completely new feeling of relaxation and deceleration in one's own private bathing oasis.

The unusual form and size of the Bassino from Kaldewei enables the bather to float freely in the water as if in the open sea and to achieve rapid, deep physical and mental relaxation for a more balanced attitude towards life.

The luxurious dimensions - 200 x 100 centimetres - of the straight-lined, purist bath allow the bather to stretch out and be supported by the warm water. Additionally a comfortable cushion supports the head and neck and ensures the face remains above the water in the 35.5 centimetre deep bath. The bather can thus experience the unique feeling of weightlessness in pleasant calm and intimacy. The truly relaxing bathroom experience which you would expect from Kaldewei.

The well-thought out design of Bassino by the internationally renowned studio of Phoenix Design, offers many practical advantages. The low depth makes it easy to climb in and out and the spacious level base of the bath allows it to double comfortably as a luxurious shower space. A matching, sturdy bath shelf is available which can be used both for storage when taking a relaxing bath and also as a flexible seating option.
