Appollo Extend Walk in Bathing Range

Appollo accessible bathing range extended with seven new walk-in baths.

Reva Industries, one of Europes leading manufacturers of acrylic baths, has extended its popular Appollo accessible bathing range with the addition of seven new walk-in models. The new models have a sleek, modern design with an attractive glass door and will appeal to consumers who want an accessible bath, but do not want to compromise on style. These fitted and freestanding models are also wider than traditional walk-in baths and will be available to retailers from January 2010.

Gary Stevens, Managing Director of Reva Industries further explains the benefits:

Our new walk-in baths are a perfect addition to the Appollo range. They look great and satisfy the demand for stylish, accessible baths that do not look out of place in modern bathrooms. The new models offer a wide range of features, from electronic controls that prevent the walk-in door opening whilst the bath is full, to an extra large waste outlet for fast drainage.

We are keen to supply our retailers with products that suit end user needs perfectly, which is why we undertook extensive consumer research when we exhibited at Naidex in April 2009. We found that many consumers prefer wider baths, as the extra width makes the bathing experience more comfortable. As a result of this research, we decided to ensure our new models would be wider than traditional alternatives.

We are already receiving some great feedback about the new models and are looking forward to developing the Appollo range further in the future.

The walk-in clear glass door which features on all models is robust and made with toughened safety glass. The freestanding model is sized 160cm x 75cm x 82cm and the fitted models cover a wide range of sizes to suite all installations, including the popular shower baths shapes now widely available in the bathroom market.

The Appollo accessible bathing range includes many models and is designed specifically around the needs of elderly, infirm or physically disabled users. The collection features powered seats, walk-in facilities and wheelchair accessibility, ensuring mobility problems do not become a barrier to relaxed bathing.
