Roman announce sponsorship of racing driver Amanda Whitaker

Roman Showers, the UK's leading shower manufacturer and designer, has announced their continued sponsorship to Britain's most successful female racing driver, Amanda Whitaker.

Amanda has been racing for over 10 years and has achieved 3 consecutive National Single Seater Championship titles, over 50 race wins, multiple lap records, she currently holds 4 Monoposto lap records, the 2006 European Formula Atlantic Championship title, top points scorer overall in 2006 European F2 Championship, the first female in history to win a National Formula Ford Championship race and 2nd in the 2009 HSCC Historic Formula Ford Championship race- to name just a few.

When she is not busy racing she is occupied in her role as a performance driving instructor throughout the UK, Europe and USA working for most major racing car manufacturers and racing schools. Amanda is also a precision driver in many TV adverts.

Roman are proud to sponsor such a successful racing driver, especially as she is local to their headquarters in County Durham. Amanda visited the factory on the 4th November to meet the Roman Team and to showcase her new racing car. The Team were delighted to meet Amanda and a few Roman employees even got to have a go in her racing car.
