Ellis Furniture is sending one lucky couple on an African adventure for their honeymoon as part of a unique competition worth £2,500 to name a new door for the company’s bathroom furniture range.
Ellis Furniture joined forces with its retail customers across the country in the hunt for a new door name and after sifting through scores of entries the judges finally decided on a suggestion from William Wilson customer Graham Marshall.
Ellis Furniture – a leading manufacturer of kitchen, bathroom and bedroom furniture – is sending one lucky couple on an African adventure for their honeymoon as part of a unique competition worth £2,500 to name a new door for the company’s bathroom furniture range.
Graham, a regular William Wilson customer, couldn’t believe his luck when he received a phone call informing him he’d won the trip for his contribution of the name Empire Apple for the new door.
Originally, the competition had a New York theme and Graham’s contribution was inspired by the Empire State’s Building and the nick name for New York, The Big Apple.
Graham comments: “The customer service I’ve received from William Wilson has always been excellent and my new Ellis bathroom furniture is just perfect! However, I was very surprised but delighted to win this competition.”
Instead of going to New York, Graham decided to propose to his partner Mary and use the vouchers for a honeymoon to Kenya.
Ellis Furniture sales and marketing director Peter Elson adds: “We were delighted with the response to the competition and it has proved to be an excellent way to support and grow our relationship with our customers.”
Ellis Furniture has decided not to introduce the Empire Apple door as part of its new range, which includes 12 new designs, but was delighted to hear that Graham and Mary are looking forward to their African adventure honeymoon.
