As part of its ongoing commitment to provide the best possible support for its nationwide network of retailers, Utopia Bathroom Group Ltd has announced the further restructuring and expansion of its sales team.
Four highly experienced industry professionals have joined the company as Area Sales Managers: James Edwards in the South West; Darren Wilgar in Northern Ireland; Mark Adams in the Home Counties and John Howell in the South Coast central region.
James Edwards joins from Moores Furniture Group where he represented the group in the South West and South Wales for six years, while Darren Wilgar has worked in the industry for over 20 years, latterly as showroom manager for Beggs & Partners in Belfast. Mark Adams has over 13 years’ experience in the bathroom industry where his most recent role was managing the Bedford showroom for Gibbs and Dandy. Finally, with almost 10 years’ experience in the sector, John Howells joins from Kohler.
At the same time, Alex Patterson has become Northern Retail Regional Sales Manager and Steve Jaques Southern Retail Regional Sales Manager, with all Area Sales Managers reporting directly to them.
Commenting on the new team, Mark Bailey, Sales Director, said, “Expanding and strengthening our sales team has enabled us to reduce area sizes so that we can now provide enhanced levels of service to all our customers.”
