Saving for a "not so" rainy day
Danish brassware manufacturer Damixa makes a welcome return to the UK market at in partnership with Croydex. In typical Scandinavian style they have some great features at the heart of the product range to encourage responsible water consumption. The impressive range, tailored specifically for the UK consists of 10 bathroom ranges, 23 kitchen models and 18 thermostatic showers, all of which embrace strong Danish design with an ecological twist, firmly supporting the company’s philosophy ‘when design makes sense.’
When it comes to saving water, Damixa delivers the luxury of choice, with a variety of ways to reduce consumption. The first of three water-saving features is the eco-klik cartridge system, giving physical resistance to operation at full flow that can be simply clicked past if more flow is required. An eco-save cartridge, adjusted during installation to reduce original flow by up to 25% offers a more permanent solution and is also a common feature throughout the range. Finally the “Regul8” system offers the ultimate in water saving efficiency and is incorporated in several ranges. Activated during installation, as the name suggests, this system regulates the flow to a maximum of 8 litres per minute when installed in high pressure plumbing systems.
Regul8 is included as standard with all Damixa showers and on six of the ten bathroom tap ranges, including the new Clover series. The elegant new basin mixer epitomises functional design and is available with matching bath filler, and bath shower mixer. A multi-function mixer, matching thermostatic shower and two kitchen mixers complete the picture.
