Geometric theme from Starck
Philippe Starck has introduced new geometric variations to his classic bathroom collections for Duravit. The "barrel", as it is affectionately known, is now also available as a cylinder and a cuboid. At the same time, the designer has created rectangular low cabinets which provide the perfect platform for new geometric console washbasins in three shapes: circular, square and tri-oval.
A brand new concept in small space design
Vienna-based design group, EOOS, has devised a concept for Duravit that is entirely new to the market: a shower enclosure that folds away when not in use and thereby frees up the space and makes the room look larger. inished in polished chrome, a clean cut frame provides the contours for the "OpenSpace" shower partition on the wall.
New Nahho flotation tub has ancient roots
The special forte of the EOOS design group is drawing on archaic models to create new designs. They apply poetic analysis to transform their inspiration into cutting-edge high-tech products. Their latest design is the "Nahho" flotation tub for bathroom manufacturer Duravit. This new product follows the EOOS tradition whereby wellness always involves a special gesture.

New Darling Range from Duravit
The Darling bathroom range has been refreshed and developed into a complete bathroom programme for 2011 with washbasin through to whirlpool bath. Still upholding the essential idea of "plenty of design for little money". The original Darling series was first created by Duravit in collaboration with designer Dieter Sieger, in 1994.

Bringing the sauna out of the basement and into the bathroom, the Inipi from Duravit features concealed technology allowing a transparent visual design. A remote control takes the tactile form of a stone is used to operate and adjust temperature, air humidity, coloured lighting and sound effects be it Jungle or Mediterranean.

A superb tower has been inaugurated with a spectacular opening ceremony on 4 January 2010 in the United Arab Emirates: Burj Khalifa which has been known as Burj Dubai until now, was built by Emaar Properties and is now the tallest building in the world standing over 828 metres high. Duravit announces 2008 sales increase
In 2008, despite global economic developments in the second half of the year, bathroom manufacturer Duravit continued upon its growth course and ended the year with an increase in sales of 7.6%. This was mainly thanks to an outstanding first half of the year that, before the crash, resulted in clear double-digit growth.
